Over 35 years
of craftsmanship.

Woodpecker Carpentry is a carpentry workshop based in Paphos. For over 35 years we’ve designed and built custom pergolas, structural woodwork, furniture, cabinetry, staircases, flooring, doors and wall panelling — each piece made to order and finished by hand for homes and businesses across Cyprus.

A brief history

The workshop was founded by Nizar, who has worked wood by hand in Paphos for more than three decades. What began as one craftsman taking on local commissions grew, through word of mouth, into a workshop trusted for pergolas, staircases and bespoke furniture across the district. As the workload grew, Marios joined to run the business side of things, leaving Nizar free to focus on what he does best.

Where we are today

Today, Woodpecker Carpentry still runs the way it always has — as a small, hands-on workshop rather than a production line. Every project is measured, designed and built for its specific space, with Nizar closely involved day to day. We work throughout the Paphos district and take on projects across Cyprus, for homeowners and businesses alike.
